It's 9 AM on a Friday and I just finished feeding my 4 month old baby, Olivia. She's happily playing with her mobile and plush book in the nursery while I catch a moment to myself. It's a few minutes of bliss - Swiss mocha coffee and the morning news runnning in the background as I find out what's going on in the world through the net.
I decided to start this blog to take advantage of such moments when I can pour out my thoughts. I came across my childhood diary a few months ago and found myself reading entries from a little girl who, I couldn't quite believe, is me now ;-) More on the details of this later. I was prompted to rethink the whole idea of "sharing" my thoughts to the wider world of the net. Afterall, the childhood diary I wrote on had a lock and key - implying secrecy, privacy. I'm not one to share information readily but I've changed my mind. Ever since I got pregnant, I noticed my memory has been faulty, in the sense that my short term memory is not always awake. I forget things that I promised to remember, so much so that I've started to write lists. There are times when I don't remember where I put them darn lists :{ The other day, I came across an article on how Alzheimer's is no longer the privy of the old - people in their forties could be struck with such an affliction!

I'm no hypochondriac but I'd like some insurance that I'll be able to look back on life and remember what I lived through, what I accomplished, who I met, etc. etc. If you ever saw the movie, "The Notebook", you'll know what I'm talking about. So here goes...
